Postdoctoral research programs are typically not degree-granting, with graduation ceremonies, and are not traditionally enrolled. There will be no coursework or syllabus, but researchers need to work on a real-world research project.
Postdoctoral research programs may be structured as either an employment-based or non-employment-based research position, depending on institutional norms and eligibility conditions, including age criteria, funding and on-campus commitment.
Only fully funded and employed candidates will be listed on the University website with an employee ID and email ID.
Researchers will receive offer/invite letters after the shortlisting process to be a part of the institution and to collaborate with different institutions/industries in publishing their works.
Postdoctoral research programs might have symposiums, consortia, and/or convocations to receive completion letters/certificates.
The prospective Postdoctoral research fellows can be nominated by existing Fellows or institutional partners.
Please do not submit any original documents (hard copies). For verification purposes, you may present the originals for review as evidence, but not submit.
Some institutions charge a fee to offset the costs of faculty time, administrative, lab, library, and other service costs.
Some institutions have made it mandatory for the postdoc fellows to visit their institution (either at their own expense or by securing funding/grants).
Doing a post-doctoral fellowship in a non-global-ranked university (QS/THE) is not a problem in itself, and this is one of the most misunderstood aspects of academic careers. The common myth is that only THE/QS-ranked institutions add value to a researcher’s profile. In reality, the quality of research output (good impact journals and conferences) and impact of work matter far more than ranking labels—especially at the doctoral and post-doctoral stage, where specialisation and productivity take precedence over institution brand names.
Carrying out any kind of research with a legitimately recognised university, approved, accredited and/or regulated under the host country’s government laws and higher-education frameworks, is very important.
